  • Tutor means the individual offering Tutorials via the Website.
  • Tutorials refer to the online pre-booked tutoring session which is booked by You via the Service.
  • Orders mean a request by You to purchase Tutorials from Us.
  • Service refers to the Website.
  • Website refers to the Hissah online platform, accessible from https://www.hissah.com
  • You mean the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

  • Cancellation by Student or Parent/Guardian
    You are entitled to cancel Your Order at any time prior to the scheduled start time of the Tutorial without giving any reason for doing so. If You request cancellation less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time of the Tutorial, the Tutor’s approval will be required for any refund (at the Tutor’s sole discretion).
    In order to exercise Your right of cancellation, You must inform Us of Your decision by means of a clear statement. You can inform Us of Your decision in the following ways:

  • We will reimburse You for validly cancelled Tutorials via the same means of payment as You used for the Order, and You will not incur any fees for such reimbursement.
    We will consider requests for refunds only in respect of Tutorials that are not completed (for reasons outside Your control) or which do not materially meet the content requirements or description. You may request a refund of any fees paid up to 24 hours after the completion of the Tutorial. We will consider such requests and may consult with the Tutor before making Our decision, which is final and binding on You and the Tutor.

    Cancellation by Tutor
    Tutors may cancel a scheduled Tutorial at any time prior to the scheduled start time of the Tutorial without giving any reason for doing so. If the Tutorial is cancelled by the Tutor:
  • You will be refunded for any fees paid;
  • We may charge the Tutor a cancellation fee if the Tutorial is cancelled less than 24 Hours prior to the scheduled start time of the Tutorial; and
  • such cancellation will be reflected in the Tutor’s KPIs.

  • Late Arrival
    If You are late for any Tutorial, You will not be entitled to any refund or reschedule (except at the Tutor’s sole discretion).
    If the Tutor is more than 10 minutes late for any Tutorial, a late fee will be charged to the Tutor, and You will be entitled to a partial credit.
    If the Tutor is more than 15 minutes late for any Tutorial, a late fee will be charged to the Tutor, and You will be refunded in full.
